'דניאל סלבוסקי – מפחיד' הוא הריליס השלישי שיוצא ברילקטנט סלבריטי. השיר הוא הזמנה לקפיצת ראש אל הלא-נודע העתיק; המקום בו הכמיהה לחיבור התעצבה לראשונה והמקום בו צלילים של לירה, באס וכלי הקשה עוטפים קולות רחוקים הקוראים, בכנות ובישירות, לעוד ישויות.

דניאל סלבוסקי, זמר-יוצר וטכנאי סאונד, נולד וגדל בירושלים, בימים אלה מתגורר ועובד בתל אביב. 'מפחיד' הוא הריליס הרשמי השלישי שלו אחרי 'חמש דקות' שיצא באוגנדה רקורדס ב2019 ו'דניאל סלבוסקי' שיצא בנו קוסט ב2013.

שני הרמיקסים, המלנכולי והמבעבע של סימי לי ג'ונס והכהה והמשתרע של אסקסם, מרחיבים ומחדדים את היסודות החיוניים של השיר, כל אחד בדרכו.

The constant struggle of being between the interior and the exterior often overlooks the simple fact that they are one and the same. With all the smoke and mirrors, we generate ourselves, it’s easy to forget that. In order to find some peace or place in the endless void, one must strive for the same existence, inside and outside.

Our third release is [RCMTRL003] Daniel Slabosky - Mafchid (Hebrew for ‘Scary’), a headfirst dive into the ancient unknown where the longing for a connection, physical or otherwise, first got its name and where sounds of lyra, bass and various percussion instruments wrap around distant vocals, delivering a sincere and abstract call for other beings.

Daniel Slabosky is a singer-songwriter and a sound technician, born and raised in Jerusalem, these days based in Tel Aviv. ‘Mafchid’ is his third official release following ‘Five Minutes’ released on Uganda Records and the self-titled E.P. released on No Coast.

The title track is accompanied by Simi Lee Jones' melancholic-sunset-period-bass-piece edit and the sprawling four by four dark dub by asKesem, both building upon the original’s foundation while defining and expanding its essential elements.
